Meet our Pilates Instructor and Yoga Instructor
Lauren’s journey into movement began through ballet, where years of disciplined training cultivated not only technical precision, but a deep appreciation for the intelligence of the human body. As a former ballerina, she experienced first hand both the beauty and physical demands of movement, sparking a lifelong passion for understanding how the body is designed to move and adapt over time.
This foundation in dance led Lauren to study physiotherapy, expanding her understanding of movement from performance into clinical insight and rehabilitation. Through combining her physiotherapy training with her lived experience as a dancer, she developed a profound understanding of body awareness, movement control, and the intricate relationship between strength and mobility.
Lauren believes that true movement health is not simply about recovering from injury or achieving flexibility, but about creating a sustainable relationship with the body that supports longevity, confidence, and freedom throughout every stage of life. She is passionate about helping individuals develop a deeper awareness of how they move, empowering them to feel more connected, supported, and in control within their bodies.
Working closely with dancers, yogis, athletes, and everyday movers, Lauren combines evidence-based physiotherapy with mindful movement practices to guide others toward greater alignment, resilience, and ease. Her approach focuses not only on performance and rehabilitation, but on teaching people to understand their bodies, building the awareness and control needed to move efficiently, prevent injury, and continue doing what they love for years to come.
Having navigated the physical and mental demands of the dance world herself, Lauren brings both empathy and insight to her work. She enjoys working with all movers, from dancers and yogis to athletes and everyday individuals, and is committed to supporting them on their unique movement journeys. Her focus is on helping people build confidence in their bodies, develop trust in how they move, and cultivate sustainable patterns that support longevity. She believes that when individuals feel informed and connected to their bodies, they move with greater ease, purpose, and authenticity.
Through her work, Lauren strives to help others reconnect with movement in a way that feels empowering, sustainable, and supportive of long-term wellbeing.
